Football and Cheerleading registration will open on Thursday, February 23rd and close on Friday, March 31st. Please register early as we will not accept late registrations. The Kindergarten team for both football and cheerleading will be capped at 25 participants.
Uniform and equipment fittings will be scheduled for April 1st and 2nd for football and April 22nd and 23rd for cheerleading.
Please understand that this is a travel sport and our conference games can be 60-90 minutes away. Football players, cheerleaders and coaches will be expected to travel with their specific teams to both home and away games.

A non-refundable system usage processing fee will be charged on top of these fees. This fee is collected by the website, not YYTF. The fee is 3.5% + $2 per transaction
Equipment fittings will take place on April 1st from 4-6pm and April 2nd from 12-2pm at YMS, for football players. At this time, your athlete will be fitted for their helmet, shoulder pads, game pants and game jersey. It is crucial that your athlete is in attendance to fittings so we can accurately order equipment and uniforms. If your athlete will be providing their own equipment, please bring that with so we can ensure a proper fit. Cheer uniform fittings will be held on April 22nd from 4-6pm and April 23rd from 12-2pm at Autumn Creek Elementary School. NEW for the 2023 season, your athlete will be required to submit 2 copies of their birth certificate at this time. If your athlete participated in 2022, your birth certificate is already on file and you do not need to bring additional copies at this time.
Equipment handout will take place in July (Exact date TBD and notification will take place via email registered to your athlete’s account). Your athlete will be required to submit a COPY of their valid sports physical, $100 per athlete for our raffle tickets/fundraiser and a $200 check, per athlete, for your volunteer/equipment deposit. If you do not have these items with you at this time, your athlete will not be able to receive their football equipment.
As per our insurance policy, athletes are unable to participate in practice and/or games without a valid sports physical on file. If your athlete’s sports physical expires during the season, you will be contacted to provide a new one and your athlete will sit out until a valid sports physical is provided.
The structure for the 2023 season will be similar to last year. We continue to maintain that registration is limited to athletes living within District 115 boundaries.
We want to provide our athletes with the opportunity to participate in both a competitive and instructional league. As our players will receive a majority of their instruction in practices, it is recommended that athletes attend as many practices as possible. Significant attendance at practice is required to participate in games. A minimum play rule will be determined by the conference and upheld by our YYTF coaches. Athletes will be awarded additional playing time at the discretion of the coaches based on effort, practice attendance, knowledge of the game and athletic ability.
